A youth account where the minor is the primary and the joint account holder needs to be either a parent or legal guardian.
The joint owner needs to be a member of the Credit Union.
$25 to open the savings.
Minimum of $25 to open the CD and MAXIMUM is $10,000.
There can only be One Graduate CD per child.
CD requires a monthly Direct Deposit/Transfer of at least $50 and a MAXIMUM of $500 per month.
CD rates are tiered:
- - Year 1 – 1.00%
  - Year 2 – 2.00%
  - Year 3 – 3.00%
  - Year 4 – 4.00%
  - Year 5 and beyond – 5.00%
If their direct deposit stops, the rate goes back down to 1.00%. They have a 1-month grace period to get their direct deposit set up before it drops back down to 1.00%.Dividends paid quarterly back into the CD.
Maturity is when youth turn 18 or passes away.
Early withdrawal penalty applies.
